It is my pleasure to present the restaurant KIN-TOH under the leadership of Executive Hotel chef Paolo Della Corte. This is a special case where it is impossible to dissociate KIN-TOH from its unique location as they both contribute to the dining experience, as if presenting a gem diamond within its crown.

Here are the highlights you need to know:

The talented and standard-breaking architect Eduardo Neira created this hotel through traditional and innnovative crastsmanship. Built as a tree hpuse 12 meters above Tulum's Mayan Jungle. The venue is a unique location to gaze althe beatiful Caribbean sunset and jungle, from one of the many round tables all beautifully set for the guests, as if invited to live a cinematic experience.

KIN TOH presents itself as a Mayan-Mexican avant-garde cusine in which the chef aims to offer the guest an experience that involves al five senses, mixing methods and local ingredients from native cosune with international elements.

Dishes you can’t miss:

I experienced an internacional cusine menu, with a strong focus on local ingredients.

The starters

The winner for me, where the perfectly cooked scallops with shallots sour cream, oysters and sturgeon caviar. In the second position, the crispy polenta with stone baked lamb and feta cheese.

You might like as well. Citrus caribbean lobster, sea scallops, local seafood cream, catch of the day carpaccio, beet and turnip salad with goat cheese, crispy polenta with stone baked lamb and finally, the eggplant, hummus.

The Main courses

You can choose from eight different courses, ranging from local pork Yaax Kaa, to New York beef taco, slow cooked lamb in swiss chards, catch of the day with white clamm sauce and chardonnay, tuna tacos Pastor Style, coconut tempura shrimps, roasted alaskan salmon and my favorite of the night, handmade fetuccine and fresh black truffle.

Vegan and sigature dishes are also offered, as well some 3 to 6 courses fixed price tasting menus.

This restaurant is not addressed to the value driven fodie crowd. Prices for starters range from 280 to 530 pesos. A 3 courses menu is worth 1365 pesos and 6 courses menu over 1900 pesos. Like all fine dining establishments, this is a restaurant to celebrate special ocassions and experience culinary delights on a magical and luxurious tree house, an environment which alone, is worth the price.

Last but not least...

KIN-TOH and Azulik Eco-Resort are a must for fine dining and exotic luxury venues. At least once in your life, you must experience this imaginative tree house architecture, the use of local materials and spirit of conservation. KIN TOH's creative cusine, fine dining ambiance, attentive service makes ir a one of a kind romantic dinner table over the Tulum jungle.
